Dr. Clark Gerhart is the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Robotics at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Community Health Systems (CHS), in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He has been in practice since 1995 and performs a wide variety of General Surgery procedures including those involving the stomach, intestines, colon, gallbladder, thyroid and breast.

He has a passion for teaching robotic techniques to other surgeons which began in 2012 with proctoring other surgeons for the maker of robotic platform, Intuitive. In 2013 he was appointed an Intuitive Epicenter Surgeon and has become one of the Nation’s most prolific robotic general surgical instructors, training hundreds of surgeons from around the country through observations, proctoring, training courses and regularly speaking on robotic surgery.

Family is Dr. Gerhart’s number one past time. Happily married to his wife Kim, a professional counselor, since 1985 with four awesome kids and four amazing grandkids. The family loves taking trips together, hanging out most any day, and eating!

Meet the Authors

Chelsea D’Albero is Ministry Coordinator for LCBC-Lebanon and lives in Lebanon, PA. Scott encouraged and inspired her to reach for and attain her career in ministry.

Seth Fetterolf is a Mechanical Engineer. He and his wife and two sons live in Minot, ND. As Scott’s son he has had an entire life of hearing Scott’s quotes and seeing them lived out.

Brooke Gerhart is the Worship Leader at LCBC-Hazleton and lives in Conyngham, PA. Scott was influential in Brooke entering ministry and mentored him in that role.

Clark Gerhart is a General Surgeon and lives with his wife in Drums, PA. Clark became a close friend of Scott’s as they worked together to plant a church in Hazleton, PA that would later become LCBC-Hazleton.

Chuck Humphrey is an EMS Billing Professional who lives with his wife in Berwick, PA. He worked with Scott for many years on the Elder Board of the church that would become LCBC-Columbia/Montour.

Lindsay Landis is a Sales Professional who lives with her husband and two daughters in Drums, PA. Scott was the most influential pastor in Lindsay’s life.

Brad Travelpiece is the LCBC-Hazleton Campus Pastor and lives with his wife in Hazleton, PA. Brad grew up with Scott as his pastor. He mentored Brad while in youth ministry and later as a campus pastor.

Colleen Travelpiece is the Guest Experience Coordinator at LCBC-Columbia/Montour. She lives in Wapwallopen, PA with her husband. Colleen worked alongside Scott for many years as Pastor’s Assistant.
